as a sidenote:

how long would it take to curl your hair this way?What size curling iron would I use to get these sized curls?
You need to purchase a 1 1/4 inch iron . Buy a good one at a Beauty Brands or nice salon. Use small sections about 1 inches wide and roll vertically. Start in the back of your head and work forward. Spray with a workable hairspray while they are warm in each section before going on to the next section. It will probably take 20 mins. If you buy a good iron it will go faster because they get hotter than the ones at discount stores. Hope this helps!What size curling iron would I use to get these sized curls?
use hot rollers
try 1-1.5 inch
to get big voluminous curls i would use big hot rollers but maybe you could use a 2'; curling iron

use a curling iron like the one above.

it should only take possibly an hour

to get it that curly.

i hope it works.
You'll want a 1.5 inch.

Wrap the hair around the iron also and keep it perpendicular to your head for the best look.

I have long hair and a lot of it, and it takes me about 45 minutes.
I WEAR THOSE CURLS ALL OF THE TIME..I DO THEM MYSELF..BUT UM GET SOME FAT SIZED CURLING IRONS THAT GOES ON THE STOVE..AND DONT CURL THEM HECKA TIGHT BECAUSE YOUR CURLS WILL END UP REALLY SHORT AND TIGHT AND MITE TAKE A DAY OR TWO FOR THEM TO FALL
1.5 '; or 2 ';
1.5 maybe?
