How to do your own hair for your wedding?

Im getting married in less than a month, I know im cutting it close and probably should have thought about all this way earlier. I am getting married on the beach and i know that i want loose curls with my hair half up and half down with a flower of some sort. I have yet to practice, but i want some advice on how to make the perfect curls? should i use curlers or a curling iron, i dont want to be stressed over my hair on my wedding and i want something easy and that i know will look perfect. any ideas? i have wavy hair, i mostly straighten it and can be worn curly. How to do your own hair for your wedding?
it SO depends on what kind of curls you want and the style it is now and the weight of it etc.

this is what i would try first:

shampoo the night before and use mousse on it. let it air dry.

in the a.m. use long sponges wrapped in foil ; wrap the hair down the sponge and spray with a setting spray or working hairspray. heat the hair with a blowdryer on 'hot' then let cool. take out sponges and finger comb. How to do your own hair for your wedding?
Use hot rollers - they are quick %26amp; easy. You don't want to have to sleep w/ traditional rollers %26amp; it's risky using a curling iron on such a busy morning.

Practice styling your hair as much as possible before your wedding day so it's second nature.
the best answer would be to go to a hair salon. You want to look your best at your wedding.
