How do you make your curls stay in after using a curling iron?

I spray my hair with hairspray then use the curling iron to curl it but the curls fall out in let then 10 minutes. it falls out even faster when i go outside. How do I keep my curls in?How do you make your curls stay in after using a curling iron?
Spray before you curl, but then when you remove the iron, you need to pin the curl up to cool %26amp; spray again.

If your hair tends to go striaght very quickly, use hot rollers.

Try this method for large waves:

Use the large hot rollers %26amp; roll them in a spiral pattern (but not all the way to the root) . Then spray them all with hairspray %26amp; leave them in until they are cooled down. Then I usually spray them again with hairspray and then give them a good heat up with a blowdryer %26amp; then blow them on cool. After they are all cool again, you need to remove the curlers (just let them drop out) And dont comb out the curls, just separate them with your fingers. And then spray again. And thats it :)How do you make your curls stay in after using a curling iron?
1. Don't put hairspray on before you use the curling irons. (Or any Mousse, or anything else)

2. Curl it straight after it has been washed and blow dried, it gives it a more natural look, and a softer touch.

3. Make sure you're using good curling irons. They need to be a good temperature. The best curling irons are probably GHD or Vidal Sassoon. (If you have none of these, then your curling irons need to heat up to about 220 degrees, if not, then this could be a big factor in why your curls drop out)

4. You need a really good hairspray. I find the best one is L'oreal Studio Fix [stong hold], because, (even though it goes on really sticky) it dries like rock, but still looks really natural and shiny. Or, Tresseme Strong Hold, because it's really strong, and smells gorgeous!!

Hope this helps, xx
Spray the curls while the hair is still wrapped around the curler...Then spray again after you take it out.....If that dosen't work, The hairspray your using might not have enough hold in it...Try getting a new hairspray, that holds better.

I did that to a Manniquein head..and the curls held for quite a long time.
firstly , before you curl it, make sure your hair isnt newly washed, as hiar is softer then and more likley to fall out.

then hold the curling irons in for around 40 seconds ensuring they have enough time to form.

then use hairspray like ellnett.

good luck!
Hairspray while curling, not just after. When I curl my hair I take a small strand of hair spray it (from root to tip) with hairspray, curl it, then repeat for the entire head. Works really well.
You need to not wash your hair before curling it. Slightly dirty hair keeps curls in. Trust me. [=
spray your hair after you curl them

not before.

and carry a small can in your purse

so when you go to the bathroom you can fix them
Spray a light coat of spritz (holding spray) after you are finished curling it.
tons of hairspray, but if your hair is too long, the curls wont stay as well as with someone with short hair.
get a hairspay that holds well, AND volumizes

i highly recommend garnier fructise XXL VOLUME HAIRSPRAY
hairspray
first... use the curling iron THEN the hairspray.
