Can you crimp your hair with a flat iron or a curling iron?

and if that is possible can you please tell me how to do it because my mom does not want to buy a crimping iron. and by the way i have hair that reaches up to my chin and it is permed. Can you crimp your hair with a flat iron or a curling iron?
no. (at least, no way that I can think of) since you say your hair is permed, i assume it's curly. so wet it, blow dry it straight with a large round brush, then mist it with water and coat a small section with gel. braid this section really tight and secure it with an elastic. repeat until your head is done, then let it air dry. once it's dry, take out the elastics and use your fingers to seperate the braids, don't brush it!Can you crimp your hair with a flat iron or a curling iron?
a straightener because i do mine all of the time......just put it one way then the opposite...you will have to spray it with hairspray so it willl stay like that
You could try it with a curling iron. It will be a lot of work though. You would have to alternate how you use the curling iron. Just hold the curling iron in one spot for a couple seconds, and then move down the piece of hair, and hold the curling iron on it backwards for a couple seconds. Make sure that you don't curl your hair at all when crimping it, because that would add unnecessary volume. Good Luck!
