How do you get your hair curly with a Curling-Iron and keep it like that?

Well, I need a answer quick!

cuz' i have to go to this dinner..

anyway is o.k but I don't have no curling hairspray.

I only have gel or hairspray.

when you curl your hair keep the iron on your hair longer so it curls better and spray your hair with hairspray about an arms length away so it doesnt have a hard look.How do you get your hair curly with a Curling-Iron and keep it like that?
Use 1'; wide strands, curl them, spray them with a little hairspray as you go, brush it out, style it, spray it again and go! :)
put hairspray on before you curl it and after you do curl it!
