Why wont my hair curl?

my hair is long. ive tried curling irons but it dosnt seem to work ive tried gel and then using the curling iron but no use. and how do you curl your hair with a streightner?Why wont my hair curl?
If you're using a straightener you can't really ';curl'; your hair. All you can do is flip your ends out/in.



Have you tried towel drying your hair, putting in rollers, then blowdrying your hair the rest of the way?Why wont my hair curl?
cause its not curly... Buy some moose.
OMG. i have the exact same problem..

i have realllyyy straight hair, and everyone says how lucky i am.. but i really want to curl it every once in a while. i hate to say it, but if your hair is anything like mine, it will never curl.



i have tried gel, moose, hairspray.. everything

if your hair is straight it just wont curl (like mine)
your hair might not be strong to handle the heat!!
get a hair cut and then curl it

or buy hair curlers (not heated) that are small/medium sized and apply them to your hair at night to sleep in

have you tried putting it in a braid to let your hair dry after a shower?
Your hair only curls if you get a hair curling thing.
it might be the oils in ur hair ! if u have stick straight hair hope this helps!
It's because your straight hair is thick and not easily waned. You curl your hair the same way with a straightener.
my mom has the same problem... what she does is when she gets out of the shower, she combs and towel dries her hair....THEN YOU JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!!!.... naturally air drying should curl your hair pretty well

You're probably not following the instructions. If you can't curl it with a curling iron you're either 1.) not leaving the curler on your hair long enough or 2.) the curler is cheap and doesn't have a high enough temperature



A straightener is used for straightening, not curling.
you cant curl your hair with a straightener.

try this,,after showering,,with your hair still wet braid sections of you hair into different sized braids and leave it like that until the next day and in the morning you take the braids out and bam! your hair will be curled.and or crimped,,that looks pretty awsome too.
is'nt funny those of use with sraight hair want curly hair and vise versa
Maybe you should try it with clean hair instead of using mousse, or try the scrunched look =]
first of all u dont curl ur hair wit a straightener secondly if those other things dont work then u can try putting gel in ur hair then braiding it at night so wen u wake up it will be crinkely. or u could just put in curlers
try curling your hair useing hair spray ,instead of gel. the hairspay will keep the curl spray it as your turning the curling iron.you cannot curl your hair with a straitner.
use mousse, if you use a curling iron or hot rollers, spray a little hair spray lightly on the rods while it's in the hair, THEN don't touch the curls till they cool off all the way, or the curl will relax too much........ a stylist
i have that problem sometimes too!! the problem is ur hair is too dry, try getting some leave in conditioner that will help moisturize ur hair, but don't curl it when it's wet, u'll fry ur hair!!!!!!!!
i don't know some hair types just won't hold a curl i have the exact opposite hair type my hair is really wavy and curly and it just won't be strait lol
