I have like dead straight hair and want to curl my boring hair. %26gt;o%26lt; But I don't know how. ;w; My sister told me to wrap a piece of hair around it and wait, but it ALWAYS turns out ugly and dysfunctional like /\/\/\/\/\, not all wavy and curly like how it should be. %26gt;_%26lt; Yes, my hair was straight and dry at all times. It's not dead either. Like, for example. When you stand in front of your computer and grab a piece of hair from your right, should you wrap that piece of hair OVER or UNDER the iron? If it matters. I'm just really slow. xD Help please. D;How do you curl your hair with a hair curler/iron? .w.?
to curl your hair you wrap it around the curling iron, wait a few muinets, and unwrap it, just make sure that before you start that the curling iron is warmed up. no use using a curling iron if t isnt war. and do it in your bedroom away from water for safety reasons. How do you curl your hair with a hair curler/iron? .w.?
you could always take a shower at night, and leave your hair in braids, and when you wake up, your hair will be wavy!
Get small parts of the hair. It tends to curl alot faster and so much more easier then a big chunk. Make sure you do it tightly. And hold it for a few mins. BUt as you roll lightly spray it with some spray gel or hair spray so that it stays together after you let the curl go from the iron. And it doesn't seem to matter what way you curl it. I go both ways at times.
If that doesn't work. Go to YouTube and put how to curl hair in the search thing. I'm pretty sure some sort of video would come up to help you HEHE
The best way to do it, if you don't mind spending a few dollars, would be to go to the least expensive hair-cutting chain in your area and have the stylist show you how to do it (there's a place by me that would cost $20 plus tip). Otherwise, take about a 1';-wide section of hair, spray it with a heat protection spray (';thermal';) if you want, and, holding the curling iron almost vertically, open the clamp and then close it onto the middle of the hair section. Right away, slide it down to the end and twist the iron so that the hair curls around it up to the base of the hair (don't touch your scalp!). Wait a few seconds (not minutes!!), and then unroll the iron and release the hair. If it's not curly enough, repeat (without the spray) and hold it a little longer (it depends on your hair and on how hot the iron is). Repeat this with different 1'; sections, and turn the curling iron different ways if you want it to look more natural. When you're done, don't brush your hair. Either leave it the way it is or lightly run your fingers through sections to separate them a little. Use a little hair spray to keep the curls in.
